Faith & Freedom Coalition
In early 2012, the Faith & Freedom Coalition (FFC) approached The Prosper Group about their need for a website to share information that mobilizes supporters and influences public policy. The Prosper Group created a custom website that allows users to connect through videos, blog posts, events, and a training center.
Sharing information and connecting with activists through videos is one of FFC’s main goals. The Prosper Group worked with them to create an interface that provides visitors with the option to search and watch full videos on the website or to access them through FFC’s YouTube channel.
Supporter involvement is an important key for FFC, to promote interaction, the website contains a section that allows users to learn more about connecting with their state’s chapter or even starting a chapter of their own.
In order for FFC to make the impact they sought online, they needed to rally the grassroots by enhancing their social media presence to better convey FFC’s message. To support this, The Prosper Group worked with FFC to create a petition on Facebook asking supporters to defend marriage. The petition generated overwhelming results, collecting nearly 4,000 new emails and increasing FFC’s Facebook page likes to over 80,000. In addition, traffic on FFCoalition.com increased 125%.
