Dan Huber
Web Project Manager
"The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'"
- Ronald Reagan

Dan Huber serves as Web Project Manager for The Prosper Group. He brings the skills of a savvy campaign veteran with a computer engineering background to the web development team.

Huber broke onto the political scene in 2006 by managing one of thirteen campaigns electing a new Republican to the U.S. House. Since then, he has managed all aspects of political campaigns with an emphasis on building strong field organizations and utilizing technology. His campaign experiences span more than 10 states and overseas.

In 2008, Huber’s skills were called upon in Romania to assist with parliamentary elections. Deployed in Transylvania, he worked to curb a political environment that was hostile toward the national party. With his leadership, the campaigns were able to strategically communicate with voters and double their countywide vote from the previous election.

Huber has led the implementation of public affairs campaigns for nonprofit organizations. By leveraging traditional and new media, he successfully coordinated grassroots activists in order to achieve organizational and legislative goals.

Huber grew up in Nebraska’s panhandle and attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he double majored in computer engineering and political science. Upon graduation, he put his engineering skills to work at a cheese company doing software implementation and database administration before catching the political bug. Huber has supplemented his vast experience with political training from the Leadership Institute and as a graduate of the RNC’s Campaign Field School and Campaign Management College.

Huber’s office, the self-proclaimed “Home of the F-bomb,” will usually find him editing copy, hacking code, or hitting milestones. Away from work he enjoys cooking, traveling, visiting with friends, winery tours, tech gadgets, and playing around with C++ or the Android SDK.
