Drupal ThemerThe Prosper Group is in need of a full-time employee to create themes and set up Drupal-based sites for political campaigns and advocacy groups. You will be provided with a site outline, layered Photoshop comps, text, pictures and other assets and will be expected to create a theme and integrate the provided content in a timely manner. A Drupal installation with modules and pages that are commonly used will be provided, as will SFTP/SSH access to the site you will be creating. Non-disclosure and non-compete agreements apply. Prerequisites - Strong grasp of semantic, HTML and CSS based design.
- Familiarity with SFTP/SSH.
- Previous experience in working on Drupal projects with other members of a team.
- Experience in creating well-commented, Zen-based subthemes (http://drupal.org/project/zen) from provided layered Photoshop comps, including creating and editing templates for different node-types and pages, editing .info files, and adding additional theme settings using the Drupal Form API. Experience in adding, editing and deleting pages, users, user groups, blocks, and block areas on a pre-existing Drupal installation based on provided directions, text, pictures and wireframes.
- Experience in testing and modifying Drupal themes and stylesheets to ensure consistent display in major browsers on Mac and PC platforms, including Internet Exporer 6-8, Firefox 3+, Safari 4+, and Chrome 4+.
- Experience in creating, editing and integrating Views-based (http://drupal.org/project/views) blocks and pages in a theme.
- Experience in creating, editing and integrating CCK-based (http://drupal.org/project/cck) node types in a theme.
- Availability to communicate via phone, instant messenger, and Basecamp (http://basecamphq.com/) during business hours (eastern standard time).

Helpful if you have: - Experience with jQuery and other javascript-based frameworks.
- Experience updating core Drupal files and modules with their latest, stable versions.

You will be provided with a site outline, text, pictures and other assets and will be expected to create a visually pleasing Photoshop comp of a home and interior webpage. Upon receiving client feedback, additional revisions may be necessary before your deliver a final design as a layered Photoshop comp. Non-disclosure and non-compete agreements apply. Prerequisites
- Strong grasp of web design principles and concepts.
- A strong portfolio of work.
- Extensive experience in creating website designs in Photoshop for HTML and CSS-based websites.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Experience in HTML and CSS coding is helpful but not necessary.
